What’s Happening in Nova Scotia this week (Sat. Mar 11 – Fri. Mar 17, 2017)

Fish Chowders and Lenten Luncheons are pretty popular during Lent – most communities have at least one church that is offering.

Also with St. Paddy’s Day next Friday many groups are getting in to the festivities. Lunches, teas and whatnot!

Big Shout out to the St. Peter’s Lions Hall in Cape Breton as they are having a St. Patrick’s Day Tea and Sale on Sunday from 1130am-1pm!

Also there’s a Alderney Farmers’ Market on Saturday. Lot’s of great local vendors – if you are there, say “Hi” to the gentlemen at Port City Cafe – they are some of my favourite people.

To see events and details (including times and maps) check out the full calendar HERE – it’s updated often.

PSA = The weather is guessing game so if you plan on visiting and being on the road – please check environment canada.
