What’s Happening in Nova Scotia this Week (Sat. Mar. 26-Fri. Mar. 31, 2017)

Fish Chowders and Lenten Luncheons are pretty popular during Lent – most communities have at least one church that is offering. Please check the calendar link below – most are Fridays and 1 in Dartmouth on Saturday.

Big Shout Out to the Church of the Good Shepherd in BeaverBank as they are having a Roast Beef Supper on Saturday from 4-6pm!

Also there’s a Alderney Farmers’ Market on Saturday. Lot’s of great local vendors – if you are there, say “Hi” to the gentlemen at Port City Cafe – they are some of my favourite people.

I appreciate a good Turkey Dinner at St Genevieve’s Church Hall in East Chezzetcook. Sunday from 4-6pm.

Is Corned Beef and Cabbage your thing? Head to the Italy Cross/Middlewood Fire Hall on Wednesday from 4-6pm.

To see events and details (including times and maps) check out the full calendar HERE – it’s updated often.

PSA = The weather is guessing game so if you plan on visiting and being on the road – please check environment canada.
